Village in a Park.....

Manicured green lawns and large single family homes define Scarsdale. About 5-6 square mile village is open space in the form of park and parkways, making it one of the greenest villages.

Scarsdale traces its roots back to Colonial times, in 1702. The village began as a farm house and it was only in the late 19th century when a railroad station was built and transforms Scarsdale from farming & summer retreat community into an upscale commuter suburb.

The exquisite architecture is reminiscent of its English roots, making Scarsdale a community of classics and an enviable quality of life amid the beauty of its setting.

Many residents, who spend weekdays in the busy work environment of New York City, love to spend their week ends strolling, in the villages Tudor style downtown with charming storefronts boutiques, restaurants, jewelry shops and wine stores.

Schools are also another reason that attracting families to this area.
